The SmartLog Pro® 2 ensures compliance with ANSI/ESD S20.20 by verifying the functionality of an operator's wrist strap and footwear, logging test results, and controlling access to Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) Protected Areas (EPAs). Each test record captures operator identification, test results, resistance measurements, time, temperature, and humidity, facilitating ongoing quality control and audit readiness. Operator identification and access control are facilitated through the embedded HID OMNIKEY® proximity reader, barcode scanner, or touchscreen keypad. Access to EPAs is further regulated via the relay terminal, which can be connected to electronic door locks or turnstiles, granting entry only to operators who have passed their predefined ESD tests.
