The C7000X cutters are engineered from premium-grade AISI 52100 carbon steel and feature ultra-durable Tungsten Carbide blades. With an exceptionally hard cutting edge rated at 79–81 on the Rockwell "C" scale, they are ideal for cutting a wide range of medical and hard wires, including Nitinol. Designed for precision, they include a .001" hone on the cutting edge, specialized tip geometry for critical coil access, static-dissipative handles, stainless steel springs, and our advanced LazerLok™ joint system. A unique set-screw mechanism prevents over-travel of the cutting edges, significantly extending tool life.
